Laurent Nassif

Laurent is the Chief Executive Officer of the consulting firms Sustainable Solutions and Renewable Solutions. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alaska, promoting hydrogen and sustainable energy transition initiatives by identifying potential renewable energy projects for implementation in Alaska, collaborating with other faculties as a hydrogen subject matter expert (SME), and preparing educational and training materials related to renewable energy and sustainability.
He was previously a Research Director for CEATI, focusing on sustainability integration, the development of new hydrogen content, project management, and electrification strategies. He was previously the Senior Director of Clean Energy and Innovation at Hawaii Gas, where he was their SME for clean energy, hydrogen, and greenhouse gases, delivering the multi-million-dollar Clean Energy Supply Plan.
Laurent has a Ph.D and M.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.S. and B.S. in Process Engineering and Computer Science from the National Polytechnic Institute in Toulouse, France.
